It was Joshie's first birthday, and he was having a big adventure in the backyard! His wild black hair bounced as he explored behind the garden shed. Suddenly, he heard a funny sound.

A big yellow dinosaur peeked around the corner! The dinosaur had the kindest eyes Joshie had ever seen. "Hello! My name is Sunny," said the dinosaur softly.

Joshie's big dark brown eyes grew even bigger with excitement. "It's my birthday today!" he said with his usual big smile. Sunny's face lit up with joy.

I would love to be your friend and come to your party! Sunny said happily. Joshie clapped his hands and took Sunny's giant foot in his tiny hand. Together they walked to the party. All of Joshie's family gasped when they saw the big yellow dinosaur! But Sunny was so gentle and kind that everyone loved him. It was the best first birthday ever, and Joshie had made a friend for life.
