Riyuda the space-spiderman
Riyuda was only five, but his dream was bigger than the moon. Every night he wore his red blanket like a cape and whispered, “One day, I will be a space web-slinger!”
That night, a tiny silver spider named Stella swung down from his ceiling on a thread of starlight. “Hold tight,” she said, and Riyuda’s bed zoomed upward like a rocket. Soon they floated above Earth, where stars blinked like friendly night-lights. Stella taught Riyuda to shoot gentle glowing webs that stuck to comets, asteroids, and even moon rocks.
Suddenly, a baby satellite spun away, beeping sadly. Riyuda took a deep breath, swung on a star-web, and caught it before it bumped into Mars. “Great saving, hero!” cheered Stella. Riyuda smiled so wide his cheeks felt like balloons.
In the morning, Riyuda woke in his own bed, his red blanket still around his shoulders. On the pillow lay one tiny silver thread, sparkling like a promise.
