The Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time, three little pigs named Pippin, Jasper, and Ruby set out to build their own houses. Their mother hugged them goodbye and reminded them to work hard and stay safe.
Pippin, the youngest, was eager to finish quickly so he could play. He gathered straw from a nearby field and built his house in just one afternoon. "Perfect!" he squealed, dancing around his golden straw home.
Jasper decided to use wooden sticks for his house. He worked for two days, carefully placing each stick and tying them together. "My house is much stronger than Pippin's," he said proudly, admiring his work.
Ruby, the eldest and wisest, chose to build with bricks. She mixed mortar, laid each brick carefully, and even added a sturdy chimney. It took her a whole week, but when she finished, her house stood strong and solid.
One day, a hungry wolf named Wolfgang prowled through the forest. He spotted Pippin's straw house and licked his lips. "Little pig, little pig, let me come in!" he growled.
"Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin!" Pippin replied nervously. Wolfgang huffed and puffed and blew the straw house down. Pippin squealed and ran straight to Jasper's stick house.
The wolf followed and found both pigs hiding inside. "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!" he snarled. "Not by the hair on our chinny-chin-chins!" they shouted together.
Wolfgang huffed and puffed even harder, and the stick house collapsed into a pile of wood. Both pigs raced to Ruby's brick house and bolted the door behind them.
The wolf arrived, hungrier and angrier than ever. "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!" he roared. "Not by the hair on our chinny-chin-chins!" all three pigs called out bravely.
Wolfgang huffed and puffed with all his might, but the brick house didn't budge. He tried again and again until he was completely exhausted. Finally, he gave up and trudged away into the forest, never to bother them again.
The three little pigs celebrated their safety with a delicious dinner. Pippin and Jasper thanked Ruby for her hard work and wisdom. From that day on, they learned that taking time to do things properly was always worth the effort.
